A stimulator and massager to relieve urinary related issues

Infections – the most common urinary disorders are the Urinary Tract Infections (UTI). Women are more susceptible to UTIs than men. UTIs are caused by harmful bacteria that can grow in any organ of the urinary system – the bladder, the kidneys and the urethra. UTIs are usually treated by antibiotics. Research has shown that about 94% of urinary tract infections can be treated by oral antibiotics.

BPH – Benign Prostate Hyperplasia – The prostate gland (a part of the male reproduction system) is located just beneath the bladder. In some cases, there is a growth of non-cancerous cells in the prostate, causing it to be bigger than usual. This change in size creates pressure on the urethra, which may result in full blockage and problems in giving urine. BPH is most common in men above sixty years old.

Bladder control disorder – urinary incontinence - loss of control over the bladder and urinary retention - a difficulty to empty the bladder’s capacity. Both conditions are treated by behavioral treatments joint with medical treatment. In some cases, surgery may be required.

Kidney disorders – kidney stones, kidney failure and proteinuria. All three conditions are caused by dysfunction of the kidneys. Kidney stones are formed by urine waste that solidify into a stone-like shape. Small stones are disposed by the body through the urethra spontaneosly, larger stones are painful and may block the urinary system. Treatment varies and depends on the exact location of the stones and type of kidney stone. Proteinuria occurs when protein is found in the urine and is due to a chronic kidney disease or infection. Kidney failure is the most severe kidney disorder. It may occur suddenly, or it may be a chronic failure and it may lead to a complete loss of kidney function. Treatment depends on the cause of kidney failure and includes a special diet with the objective of restoring kidney functionality. Eventually dialysis or kidney transplant may be required.

Nocturia – the need to urinate during sleeping hours. Nocturia causes a state close to insomnia, and impairs life quality and well-being. There are several treatments for nocturia and more are being developed.
